about On Point Catering Solutions

On Point Catering Solutions is a family-run hospitality business led by Mitchell and Elianna Walton. With more than 25 years in kitchens, from fine dining to brasserie, we run the restaurants, bistros and function rooms of clubs across South West Sydney and the Central Coast.

We cook for club members and their families, and we look after weddings, birthdays and celebrations of life in our clubs' function rooms.

Mitchell Walton

Managing Director & Executive Chef

A chef for over 25 years, trained in Sydney fine dining.

Read Mitchell’s story

Mitchell began his apprenticeship in 2002 at Wildfire Restaurant, Circular Quay, completing five years of fine-dining training and rising to Chef de Partie. He then worked at Quay, learning the finer ways to handle and balance food.

He joined LS Catering (now Catering HQ) as Head Chef at Moorebank Sports Club and grew with the company for over ten years — from one club to overseeing 11 clubs, 16 food outlets and 26 function spaces as Group Executive Chef, guiding more than 110 chefs.

Today he is Group Managing Director of OPCS, in partnership with Moorebank Sports Club, Davistown RSL, Doyalson RSL and Summerland Sporties.

Front of house, training and functions.

Read Elianna’s story

For the past four years Elianna has been a Director at OPCS, setting up front-of-house standards, leading staff training and running the functions department.

Her hospitality career spans bartending and cocktail making at a prestigious Auckland venue, running two Subway outlets in Sydney, senior waitressing for weddings and private functions at Birkenhead Café, and supervisory roles in the security and healthcare sectors.
